OUR MISSION is to provide resources to the San Francisco public health community to assist it in delivering the best quality health care in an efficient and cost-effective manner. It is supported through the generousity of individuals, corporations, and grants.

OUR WAY OF WORK is to support and enhance the care and services provided by the San Francisco Department of Public Health. We augment and expand the Department's educational programs by funding conferences, trainings, and publications related to public health issues. The Foundation also sponsors special projects of the Department.

THE FOUNDATION raises funds for the Department's projects and activities from three primary sources; Individual gifts, Corporate gifts, and Grants from other foundations and organizations.
